If you want to travel to Asia, you have to decide first where exactly you want to go, since Asia ist the world's biggest continent and very diverse. 4 million people live in Asia, which is about 60 percent of the world's population.
Asia consists of numerous regions, for example East Asia, North Asia, Central Asia or South Asia and these regions differ highly from each other.
China and Corea, for instance, are a part of East Asia. If you are interested in getting to know Russia, you have to go to the North of Asia.
Last year, when I decided to travel to Asia, I went to the south of the continent, getting to know South Asias biggest country named India. There ist so much to see and to do in this country. I went hiking at the Himalaya, which is the highest group of mountains of the world and I walked along the river Ganges. A good portion of the population believes in Hinduism, therefore I visited a lot of beautiful Hindu temple. The buddhist architecture is worth studying as well, since Buddhism also affected the country.
As film plays a very important role in modern India, I went to see some Bollywood films during my travel to India.
This journey was definetely one of those experiences I will remember forever.
