Per internet we found a last-minute-offer in Manhattan, for which we had to pay 866 $ per person for 7 nights, everything without breakfast. Of course there is a restaurant and bar in this 4-star-hotel. The rooms have hairdryers, cable TV, telephone, newspaper, fridge, radio safe, hi-sped internet. In the house are also a fitness center and a hairdresser.
Guesthouses and B&B have nearly the same in price. The difference is, the landlord himself doesn’t stay in the guesthouse. A guesthouse in Manhattan is about 140 – 160 dollars and has air conditioning, coffee/tea facilities, desk, fridge ironing board, microwave, radio, satellite/cable TV, telephone. Breakfast must be paid extra. The minimum stay required is 4 nights.
